MARCH 26
MUSEUM TOURS — The Central High Museum will be open for tours from noon to 5 p.m. on Wednesday, March 26. The museum is located at 401 Thomas Jefferson Highway in Charlotte Court House.
COUNTY MEETING – The Charlotte Board of Supervisors will hold a special called meeting on Wednesday, March 26 to discuss both reassessment and hold interviews with potential candidates for the District A board vacancy, the seat currently held by Gary Walker. This will be at 6 p.m. at the Board Room of Administration Office, located at 250 LeGrande Avenue, Suite A in Charlotte Court House.

YOUTH REVIVAL – St. Level Baptist Church in Red Oak will hold its annual Youth Spring Revival from April 1 to April 3. Prayer service starts at 7 p.m. and worship at 7:30 p.m. On Tuesday, April 1, Rev. Andy Hargrove from Williams Grove Baptist Church will deliver the message, with music by the Williams Grove Choir. On Wednesday, April 2, Rev. Sharon Baskerville from Bloom Hill Baptist Church will preach, with music from the Bloom Hill Choir. On Thursday, April 3, Rev. Loretta Bailey from St. Douglas Baptist Church will deliver the message.
APRIL 1
BEEKEEPERS MEETING – The Heart of Virginia Beekeepers will meet on Tuesday, April 1. That’ll start at 7 p.m. at the Prince Edward County Extension Office, located at 100 Dominion Drive in Farmville. FISH SALE – There will be a fish plate sale on Saturday, April 5 at the Drakes Branch Pavillion. Plates will include baked beans, cole slaw and pasta salad, with drinks and dessert also available. Fish plates will be $12 and catfish plates will be $15. Plates will be ready to go at 11 a.m., with the fish provided by Gus’s Kitchen. All proceeds will go to support Rev. Michael Haskins.
APRIL 6
PASTORAL ANNIVERSARY – St. Michael Baptist Church in Drakes Branch will celebrate the 19th anniversary of Rev. James Goode and First Lady Tammie Goode on Sunday, April 6. That will start at 2 p.m. with Rev. Leon Jackson, pastor of Zion Hill Baptist Church in Farmville, as the guest preacher. He will be accompanied by his choir.
MEMORIAL FUNDRAISER – Rocky Branch Baptist Church will hold a special fundraiser in memory of Betty Staten Mosley on Sunday, April 6, starting at 3 p.m. The guest proclaimer will be Evangelist Brenda Staten Perkins with special music rendered by Voices of Praise and the Finneywood Choir. Proceeds will be used for the building fund.
FAMILY & FRIENDS DAY – Saint Matthew’s Baptist Church in Kenbridge will hold Family and Friends Day on Sunday, April 6, starting at 3 p.m. Rev. Boris Bullock and the Oak Grove Baptist Church family will be the special guests.
CHURCH ANNIVERSARY – Shiloh Baptist Church, located at 125 Shiloh Church Road in Drakes Branch, will hold their 160th church anniversary on Sunday, April 6. Rev. Dr. James E. Coleman Jr., pastor of Providence Transformation Church International, will be the guest preacher. The celebration begins at 3 p.m., with dinner served afterward.

EASTER EGG HUNT – The Charlotte County Library will hold an Easter Egg Hunt on Saturday, April 12 at its Charlotte Court House branch, beginning at 10 a.m. The library is located at 112- 116 LeGrande Avenue.

WEEKLY WORSHIP – Tabernacle Baptist Church will hold Sunday School every Sunday at 10 a.m. except 5th Sundays. Services start at 11:30 a.m. on the first and third Sunday of the month.
WOMEN’S MINISTRY WORSHIP – A worship service with Confident Women Ministry is held every Sunday at 3 p.m. online via conference call. Services are led by Rev. Loretta Bailey and anyone is invited to call 1-657-390-7012 to take part.
MICHAEL BAPTIST CHURCH — St. Michael Baptist Church in Drakes Branch holds worship services at 11 a.m. the second and fourth Sundays of each month Masks are required. The Rev. James E. Goode is the pastor.
SHILOH BAPTIST CHURCH – Shiloh Baptist Church, located at 125 Shiloh Church Road in Drakes Branch holds services every Sunday at 10 a.m. Rev. Dr. Horace B. Parham Jr. is the pastor. All are welcome.
AMATEUR RADIO MEETING — The Charlotte County Amateur Radio Club meets the first Sunday of the month at 5104 Double Bridges Road in Meherrin. The meeting begins at 3 p.m. Everyone is welcome. For more information, contact Joe Reid at (808)-927-8910.
ANDREWS BAPTIST CHURCH — St. Andrews Baptist Church in Cullen holds worship services at 11 a.m. the first and third Sundays. Sunday school begins at 9:45 a.m. the first, second, third and fourth Sundays. The Rev. Dr. Maurice Finney is the pastor.
