Randolph-Henry High honored Mrs. Sarah Ruppel-Lee as its “Noteworthy Statesman” for the month of March. The school staff wrote that “Ruppel-Lee’s dedication to student success is truly remarkable. As an English 11 teacher, she has created an engaging, supportive, and non-threatening learning environment where students feel comfortable exploring language arts. Through humor, strong student rapport, open dialogue, and meaningful discussions, she has helped her students show tremendous growth in reading this year. They are now working hard to complete their writing literary analysis PBA, a testament to her hard work and commitment to their progress in both reading and writing.”

Beyond the classroom, Ruppel-Lee has stepped up in a major way by volunteering to take over the 2024-25 yearbook following the departure of the school’s advisor.

“Without hesitation, she saw a need and immediately took action—a perfect example of her “get-it-done” attitude and dedication to our school community,” said Randolph-Henry Principal Erin Davis. “Mrs. Ruppel-Lee is a true doer and a positive spirit who brings so much value to our staff. Her hard work, enthusiasm, and willingness to go the extra mile do not go unnoticed. Thank you, Mrs. Ruppel-Lee, for all that you do!”
