Some good news today for Randolph-Henry High’s yearbook staff. The school’s 2023 yearbook, The Log, is being featured in the Jostens Look Book 2024. The book celebrates the ‘best of the best’ in yearbook design and inclusivity from across the country. Randolph Henry’s yearbook was one of only 479 selected from almost 1,000 submitted and this marks the school’s fourth straight year being featured.
The Jostens Look Book is a collection of outstanding yearbooks and their creative themes, trendy covers, beautiful designs, relevant coverage of school events, meaningful storytelling, and stunning photography. Along with design excellence, the annually published Look Book honors the work of students who create the yearbook over the course of 6-12 months. Through it, they chronicle the experiences, stories, and achievements most relevant to students and that academic year.
The 2023 editors of The Log were Sierra Lacks, Kathryn Hamilton, Samantha Donaldson, Delaney Jones, and Austin Lytle. Mrs. Alyson Napier Gajjar was the adviser. The Randolph-Henry yearbook also received this award in 2021, 2022, and 2023 under the direction of Mrs. Gajjar.
The 2024 panel of judges, comprised of nationally recognized scholastic journalism professionals and award-winning yearbook advisers, selected the best examples of yearbook spreads and covers to make up the 2024 Look Book.
