Ashley Neal WatsonAshley Neal Watson, 81 of Fredericksburg, passed away on Dec. 9, in Richmond, He was the son of the late Frank Alfred Watson and Gloria Neal Watson.

He is preceded in death by his father, Frank A. Watson; his mother, Gloria N. Watson Dodson; wife, Bernadine Fowlkes Watson; and brother, Alfred Frank Watson.

Ashley leaves to cherish his loving memories his loving and dedicated daughter, Kristie Watson (granddog/Goldie) of Fredericksburg; niece, Myelle Watson of Baltimore, Maryland; a devoted great niece, Myesha Gaines of Drakes Branch; several other nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews, many cousins and friends.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, Dec. 21, at 10 a.m. at Forest Baptist Church in Meherrin, with interment at Mt. Ellis Baptist Church Cemetery in Keysville. The public viewing will begin on Friday, Dec. 20, from 1 until 6 p.m. The family will receive friends from 4 until 6:30 p.m. at the funeral home in Charlotte Court House.
